STEVE BURTON'S WIFE – SHEREE GUSTIN
The "General Hospital" star married Gustin on January 16, 1999, but it wasn't until 2003 that they had their first child, Makena Grace, on September 5. Three years later, they had their first son, Jack Marshall, followed by Brooklyn Faith in 2014.
Over the years, Burton would share his beautiful relationship with his "amazing wife," even claiming that they treated every day like Valentine's Day. He said:
“I have the greatest wife in the world. She's just an incredible mom and partner. I couldn't do any of the stuff I do without her. It's the cliche of, 'Behind every man is a great woman.' She's everything.”
In 2021, the couple celebrated their 22nd anniversary and even brought to social media their unconditional love for each other. In his post, "The Young & Restless" star claimed that the past years had been nothing short of wonderful; little did he know it would be their last.
The following year, Burton announced their separation on Instagram. He also revealed that Gustin was pregnant with her fourth child, but he was not the father. He wrote in an Instagram story:
“Sheree and I are separated. She recently announced that she's expecting her 4th child. The child is not mine. We are still co-parenting our three beautiful kids.”
Months before the announcement, Gustin reflected on her mistakes on social media in several posts but never detailed what she had done wrong. It wasn't until their separation that fans pieced together the puzzle.

Burton was not the only one dismissed from the show due to compliance with the vaccine mandate. Two weeks before his confirmation, his co-star, Rademacher, also left "General Hospital" for the same reason.
The long-running show has also bid farewell to one of its stars, Jay Pickett, who unexpectedly passed away at sixty years old. According to some reports, there's speculation that he died from a heart attack.
